Would you like to see new senior housing with special features for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing in Northern Kentucky? Horizon Development is considering developing such housing within the next 2 years.

The building features would include a controlled entrance with TTY/VP/Voice communication, visual signaler alarm systems in units and common areas, elevator, hallways with handrails, and other accessibility features. There will be 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with cable access, a club room (with listening loop) with kitchen, fitness room, business center, and hair salon. On-site staff, skilled in sign language and oral communication, would manage the building and oversee a variety of social activities.

Approximate proposed rents are from $540 to $780, for most 1 & 2 bedroom units. For extra large 2 bedroom, 2 bath units, the proposed rent is approximately $895.
